Alyssa
founder, massage therapist, yoga instructor | she/her
Even as a child, Alyssa was called to healing and nature. She's committed to sustainable wellness and is guided by authenticity and intuition. She started Aether to create spaces and places where people can intentionally be their best self through cultivating wellness and healing for body and being.
Alyssa began teaching yoga in 2017 and has logged well over 1,000 hours of instruction. In 2019, she deepened her connection to the body through training in massage therapy and shiatsu from Centerpoint Massage and Shiatsu Therapy School and Clinic. Alyssa is a Reiki Level II practitioner and holds certifications in sound healing, yin and restorative yoga, and yoga sculpt. She is currently working toward her personal training certification and has begun studying herbal folk medicine. She graduated from Macalester College in environmental studies (‘17) and earned her MBA from Augsburg University (‘24).
Born and raised in the Twin Cities, Alyssa's earliest memories were gallivanting through Voyageurs National Park and along the North Shore. Outside of Aether, you can find her on an adventure with her dog (Kylo), at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival, learning Norwegian, and throwing pottery.

Ka Lia
massage therapist | she/her
Ka Lia’s journey into massage therapy began in early childhood, intuitively massaging her mother and discovering the healing power of touch. She graduated from Aveda in 2024 with over 600+ hours of training.
Growing up in an unstable home and experiencing several traumautic events, Ka Lia gained a profound understanding of how physical and emotional trauma impact the body and mind. This unique journey enriched her understanding of healing the mind, body and soul.
Ka Lia’s approach is through intention, compassion and intuition to effectively address each individual’s needs. Her signature modalities are Swedish, trigger point therapy, stretching, and deep tissue massage. Outside of therapy, Ka Lia enjoys writing, meditation, music, and is on track to become a certified yoga instructor by the end of 2025!
