Full yoga class schedule
Yoga classes
Aether offers a variety of classes that are each intentionally crafted to meet the needs of first-timers and seasoned yogis.
Vinyasa
Vinyasa uses intentional movement to build strength, flexibility and coordination. Sequences are cued to breath and focus on postures, meditation, and self-study. All levels.
Yin
Yin and Yang are two opposing yet complementary forces that balance out the universe. Since Yang is more energetic, busy, bright, and ethereal, it often dominates daily life. Yin yoga classes cultivate a mellow, calm, and dim energy to create balance. Focusing on slow movements, breathwork and meditation, Yin will slow down your mind and body.
Restorative
Restorative yoga slows down the pace, your heartbeat and your mind through postures that encourage passive stretching with relaxing music and thought provoking cues to encourage mindfulness. It’s great for sore bodies and supports your nervous and digestive systems.
Sculpt
Sculpt yoga is Vinyasa with a focus on strength training and cardio. Classes are built around breath, movement, and holding postures in ways that will strengthen your body and your Vinyasa practice. Sometimes we use weights! For virtual at home classes, you can use dumbbells, soup cans, rocks, potted plants, the list goes on. In a studio you’ll typically use dumbbells.
Sound Bath
Sound baths offer a full-body meditative experience. The singing bowls an echoing sound at different frequencies that bathes the room in healing energies. It’s a beautiful and moving experience that’s included in many of the yoga classes offered through Aether.
Fire flow
Fire Flow classes are coming soon! These classes will be near flame and get spicy.

Common questions about yoga
-
Absolutely none! No matter if you've never practiced before or you're a seasoned veteran, you are always welcome and will always have a place on a mat with Aether.
Every class is designed with flexibility to cater to anyone present. Additionally, we encourage all yogis to customize each class to honor their higher Selves and meet their immediate needs and long-term goals — sometimes that might mean spending most of the class in a resting position or venturing into your own flow to make things more spicy.
-
You can wear whatever you want as long as you are comfortable and can move around in. Consider layers too! It's common to like an additional layer of clothing to slip on toward the end of class when things wind down because your body temperature will drop when you are physically at rest. For restorative and yin classes, you may want to dress a little warmer for those reasons!
-
Yoga is meant to be practiced anywhere and any time! Meaning, you never need a mat to practice yoga and some people prefer to practice directly on the earth.
Others prefer a mat because it creates a space for you to tether yourself to and creates a separation for the bustle of every day life. Yoga mats also offer cushion for bones and bums against the ground and can help reduce slipping due to moisture accumulation (read: sweating).
You may bring your own if you want, or we have a limited number available to loan out!
-
If you want to bring a yoga mat, bring one (see above). It’s also nice to bring layers in case you get chilly when resting (your body temperature will naturally drop when you’re physically still for a little bit), and water! Bring water everywhere you go, honestly. It’s good for you :) Whenever props are required or suggested for practice, they will be provided.
You are always welcome to bring your own blocks, strap, bolster, etc. You do not need to bring your phone or smart watch. If you would like to, or need to for any reason, please keep your device(s) on silent and avoid checking messages or using them unless absolutely necessary. Even the light-up from a smart watch can be really distracting for some in their practice, so just be as respectful as you can while also meeting your own needs!

Yoga is a beautiful practice that should be accessible to anyone and everyone — which is why many of Aether classes are free or donation-based. Donations help cover the instructors time, the space, and the mats and props that make each class possible. To provide a frame of reference if you choose to donate, yoga often ranges from $12 to $40 per class.
